Requirements:  Protection for newly hosted Web Servers, Core Switch and Edge Switch up-gradation, Enhance Network Security, Dependable Email Security

 

Synopsis:
Federal Customs Authority is the utmost authority when it comes to policies and reforms with regard to customs regulations within UAE. Federal Customs Authority launched certain application available over internet for regional customs agencies and also for interaction with customs authorities throughout GCC. Federal Customs Authority had challenges in increasing network performance and enhancing the security with primary focus on providing secure access and protection for the newly introduced web based applications. 

 

Design and Implementation:
Seven Seas Computers provided a comprehensive end to end solution which involved redundant Cisco 6500 Core Switches configured in VSS mode. The design involved multiple layers of security from vendors like Stonesoft, Juniper and Cisco. The security design also involved redundant Barracuda Web Application Firewalls to protect the application servers which reside in their network and are accessed from internet. In addition we proposed Spam Firewalls for Email Security from Barracuda. The design, technical skills, account management skills and implementation plan all resulted in decision to award the project to Seven Seas Computers. Since the applications were already live, our implementation team took utmost care in restricting any downtime to after office hours or on off days. All the devices were configured offline before being introduced to the live network. The most critical part of the project was in replacing the existing standalone core switch with redundant new core switches.

Synopsis:
ADTA is a well-known establishment responsible for changing the outlook of Abu Dhabi and making it one of the most preferred travel destinations in the region. The brand Abu Dhabi as we perceive today is an outcome of various initiatives and efforts contributed by ADTA. ADTA sets standards for operations for recreational/hotel facilities in Abu Dhabi

 

Design and Implementation:
When ADTA was planning for their Network Infrastructure upgrade and Disaster Recovery Solution, they involved Seven Seas Computers based on our earlier engagements with ADTA and due to the confidence on our Sales Team. Seven Seas was able to secure the order with reasons ranging from superior technical and commercial bid to our relationship with Cisco.  The design was such that the Wired and Wireless Network was based on Cisco Systems and Security Infrastructure was based on Juniper. We went a step further to assist the customer to deploy a temporary solution due to the delay in shipment of Equipment from Cisco.

 

Company Name: Capital Hyatt (ADNEC – Phase III)

Requirements: Network Infrastructure & IPTV Design and Implementation

 

Synopsis:
Capital Hyatt is one of the most awaited Hotel project in Abu Dhabi. The Hotel is located in the landmark Capital Tower building with in ADNEC Complex. The Tower has already made its way into the Book of Records for its tilt which is more than the leaning Tower of Pisa.

 

Design and Implementation:
Seven Seas Computers has designed network and wireless solution based on HP Networking and Security solution based on Juniper Networks for the Hotel. Seven Seas tied up with leading IPTV solution provider Docomo Intertouch, to provide a state of the art High Speed Internet Access, Billing and IPTV solution for the Hotel. After a very long selection phase ADNEC awarded the project to Seven Seas Computers-Docomo-Intertouch partnership. 

 

Company Name: Abu Dhabi Sports Council

Requirements: Network Infrastructure and Security design for their New Office

 

Synopsis:
ADSC is the Sports Control Authority in Abu Dhabi. They are responsible for any sports related events or programs that happen with Abu Dhabi.  With its New Head Office based very close to Corniche and with connectivity to all Sports Centers, Stadiums and Branch Offices, ADSC is a fast growing organization with an agenda to promote sports in Abu Dhabi

 

Design and Implementation:
Seven Seas Computers has designed network and wireless solution based on Cisco and Security solution based on both Cisco and Juniper Networks for their New Head Office. Seven Seas is actively involved with other requirements like security enhancement, telephony solutions, etc at ADSC.

Requirements: Wireless Infrastructure and IP Telephony

 

Synopsis:
Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi is situated within the Qaryat Al Beri complex that also includes 161 fully furnished Shangri-La Residences, six luxurious private villas, CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La and the Souk at Qaryat Al Beri.  The hotel, first of its kind in this fast evolving city, offers an impressive variety of services and facilities in a great location and exemplifies luxurious hospitality in what is truly a destination within a destination.

 

Design and Implementation:
Seven Seas Computers helped Shangri-La design and deploy a Cisco based solution, involving Cisco 6500 Core Switches with Wireless Controllers and Cisco Access Points, which one of the biggest sites for Cisco with regard to the number of Access points used (over 400). The solution was complex considering that the Cisco Switching and Wireless Equipment required to communicate with the existing HP Procurve Switches and also to their existing NEC PBX to facilitate seamless communication between Cisco Wireless Phones and Normal Analog Desk Phones.
